I know some of you would like to hear a full stack, but the supplier only had the 6 x 10" speaker cabinet available. Since I couldn't imagine transporting over 140 lbs. of gear across Paris in order to try it out in a studio and then bring it to my flat on the 8th floor, I just took the amp head with me and tried it out at AudioFanzine's editorial office. If you're looking at this advert then you probably know what this is - a 2 channel all-valve Orange signature head, designed with Brent Hinds' sound in mind. It sounds fantastic but I only know that having turned it on twice since buying it. The PPC412-C guitar speaker cabinet is crafted from 13-ply Baltic birch high-density 18mm birch plywood, like all of the rest of the cabinets in the Orange PPC (Power Projection Cabinet) series. This means that cabinet itself delivers a great tone, with notably excellent midrange. Inside the cab, you find 4 x 12-inch Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
